Paradores de Turismo de España is a chain of high-quality hotels located in historic buildings such as castles, palaces, monasteries, and fortresses. Currently, there are over 90 Paradores spread throughout Spain, and each one is unique due to the variety of buildings in which they are located.

The types of Paradores in Spain can be classified according to their location and theme:

  1. Historic Paradores: the most traditional, located in buildings with an important history, such as castles, palaces, and monasteries.
  2. Natural Paradores: located in natural settings such as mountains, forests, coasts, and natural parks.
  3. City Paradores: located in the historic center of Spain's main cities, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, etc.
  4. Monumental Paradores: located in historic buildings with significant architectural value, such as churches, convents, and manor houses.
  5. Beach Paradores: located on the Spanish coast, these Paradores offer their guests a unique beach experience.
  6. Convent Paradores: former convents or monasteries converted into hotels, these Paradores are ideal for those seeking a spiritual and tranquil experience.
  7. Gastronomic Paradores: offer a wide variety of typical Spanish cuisine dishes based on local and seasonal products.
  8. Golf Paradores: located in high-quality golf courses, these Paradores are ideal for golf lovers.

Each Parador has its own personality and style, offering a unique and different experience to its guests.
